Nothing is more relaxing than a cruise, even if during the summer on the river Spree between the government district, and Museum Island feels like being on a motorway. In this section, cruises from 1 to 1.5 hours duration are offered. Passing the Bodemuseum, through the Friedrichstrasse train station until the Bellevue Palace and then turn back on the same route. During the trip, guides will explain the attractions on the shore and be sure to add entertaining anecdotes about the Reichstag, the Paul-Loebe House, main train station, Chancellor office and Prussian barracks.
Due to the large number of cruise ships available, you do not need to worry about departure times. Just go to one of the piers and select your boat. Our reception staff will be happy to advise and assist you as well as tell you, how to get there.
Most interesting are the "bridge cruises." They underpass countless many bridges, where some are so low that you must duck your head. The charm of these tours is that you are off the beaten track and you will travel through Kreuzberg mainly along the militia canals, before entering the bustle of the river Spree. The pier "Potsdamer bridge" is about 15 minutes from the hotel. You can get the tickets from reception for the bridge tour. Detailed information can be found here.
For those who want to spend more time on the water, we can recommend the Stern and Kreis cruise company. It offers tours to the outlying districts, such as Lake Tegel (Tegel) or Grosser Mueggelsee (Koepenick).
