Berlin Art Week in the capital

Berlin Art Week is completely dedicated to contemporary art. For the seventh time this event will take place, this year from the 11th until 15th September 2024. You can expect a colourful programme as varied as art itself. In addition to vernissages, (special) exhibitions and awards ceremonies, the main focus is on the art fairs in the Arena Berlin and the STATION Berlin am Gleisdreieck. Here gallery owners, artists and art lovers have the opportunity to exchange news on current topics in the industry.

Many events all over the city

During the Berlin Art Week various smaller and larger events with different topics will take place throughout the capital region. They combine art, science, society and politics. As a special highlight the four-day "Festival of Future Nows" will take place at the Hamburger Bahnhof, where the image of the exhibition will constantly change underlining the concept "Nothing stays the same".

The Art Metropolis Berlin

The Berlin Art Week is the successor of the trade fair "Art Forum", which provided a platform for the art scene in Berlin until the year 2011. In the meantime, many art and cultural institutions come together at the Art Week Berlin. The main goal of all participants is to prove that Berlin has the reputation of being a vibrant, multicultural art metropolis that constantly reinvents itself through constant change and innovation.
